Hey Robert,I have only tried the slgnie-page sales page style once & really did not find much happiness in it. Of course, I used a free blog and a few ezine articles to make it, so I was never really sure about it. Nonetheless, I chose to stop working on it as it seemed fairly pointless and…well, low-quality.I have had much more success in creating sites more like what you described. There are a ton of things that make a site high-quality. Actually, when I started all of this madness (a few months less than a year ago) I remember thinking that so many of the “high quality” articles and sites that were being pointed to as examples really seemed to be rather low quality. It really makes sense to me why ezineartlicles, etc. would be devalued by Google.But to Brandon’s point above, some of the sites that I thought would drop in rankings due to their reliance on those farm sites haven’t.Oh, and I just noticed that Mr. Whalley is now doing a test to see if he can rank a new site using only article marketing. Should be interesting.Also, thanks for mentioning Dan Kennedy. I had not heard of him before.Have a great day!
